A program funded by the Illinois Department of Human Services and administered by Child Care Resource & Referral.
Parents may receive help in paying for child care if they are:
Working and their gross income (before taxes are deducted) is below 185% of the federal poverty level (listed below). If a family is receiving any unearned income it will be added to the monthly gross income; OR
Completing a high school degree, Adult Education Program, GED Program, English as a Second Language program; OR
Enrolled in an Occupational or Vocational Training Program (ie. Cosmetology School); OR
Enrolled in an Associates or Bachelor’s Degree Program (first Bachelor’s only); OR
Receiving TANF cash assistance from the state and enrolled in an approved education / training program.
