Infant/Toddler Consultation Program
Rebecca Kroiss, Infant/Toddler Specialist at CCR&R

Hello. My name is Rebecca Kroiss, and I am the Infant and Toddler
Specialist for CCR&R.

The Infant/Toddler Consultation Program provides support and information to family child care providers and center staff regarding programming and other concerns that come up when working with infants and toddlers.

The program is provided by Child Care Resource & Referral for Will, Grundy, Kendall and Kankakee counties. My goals are to:

  • Identify infant/toddler needs in each CCR&R service delivery area
  • Provide on-site technical assistance based on assessments of the infant/toddler program (e.g. PITC Principles, ITERS, etc.)
  • Provide technical assistance by phone and e-mail
  • Assist child care practitioners with developing and implementing quality improvement plans
  • Develop intensive infant/toddler training that will be offered statewide
  • Work in cooperation with and refer to Child Care Nurse Consultants, Mental Health Consultants and QRS Specialists
  • Provide infant/toddler resources and guidance to CCR&R staff

The Infant Toddler Program is in place to bring the best quality of care for all children.

I can visit your program, answer questions over the phone, provide training and educational sessions, and more. I can also help your program examine the following quality indicators relating to infants and toddlers:

  • Relationships
  • Curriculum and Assessment
  • Environment
  • Program Management
