Starting Point I Workshops
If you are interested in providing care in your home, or if you are already a provider and want to know ho you can become a licensed provider and increase your income, this is the workshop for you. This workshop will give you an overview of licensing regulations, contracts, parent / provider relationship and other business aspects of opening and running a child care home. Participants receive an orientation folder, a beginning child care manual, and a certificate showing 2 hours of in service training at the workshop. Advanced registration and payment is required.
Starting Point II Workshops
At this session the provider will be able to complete the licensing paperwork from DCFS with the assistance of a recruitment specialist. Participants also have the opportunity to go over any questions that they may have before sending the packet into DCFS for approval.
